Maritime Talents
The Maritime Talents project involved a diligent process of optimising the user experience (UX) to allow the most efficient and seamless route for seamen and women to apply for jobs online. This website supports an easy-to-use filtering system and categorisation of different job types that helps users find exactly what they are looking for.
The main challenge was to provide an online system that was both simple to use for the end-user and easy to update for the company admins. By developing this project on WordPress, we could create a system that is easy for staff to maintain and update with new job listings and create a seamless frontend experience for all users.
When creating a website that needs to be functional and showcase many options, it is important to make it user-friendly for all types of people and across all devices. Our UX mapping service provides a comprehensive breakdown of how the website will be used and how users will go from A to B.
While a core focus was the UX for this project, we must also include a great UI (user interface) to ensure an attractive and modern website, with consistent use of branding and design.
The website does just that, not only complementing the company’s branding but also incorporating interactive elements that help the user on their journey.
