Foukoues, a family-run traditional Cypriot BBQ shop, for over 20 years, contacted us in need of a brand new design and development for their website. The project required a new User Experience (UX) entirely, to make it as easy and efficient as possible, for users to find and purchase BBQs, delivered across Europe.
eShop websites can always be a bit tricky, every audience is different, every product changes, every experience is new. This project had a few custom conditions, such as, product availability was dependent on the user location, cart weights dictated the price of delivery and the seaonality of the product.
While it is part of every project that Absolute Websites works on, the research phase of Foukoues was extra special. Not only were there a lot of moving parts to consider, but purely optimising for conversion rate optimisation (CRO) while keeping a nice design and friendly experience can be difficult.
The team were able to meet all of the client objectives on this project, including all custom functionality that was desired by the client. The website lists only products relevant to the user location (via IP), it holds a clean and modern look, while showcasing the product, features, specifications and more in an easy-to-view light.
